WHO ARE YOU
You are an experienced QA or QC Engineer and familiar with modern testing methodologies and tools! Besides, you:
have a proven ability to create test cases, checklists, test plans, and test summaries
have working knowledge of testing methodologies, processes, and tools (types of testing, tools used in testing, techniques used when testing)
strive to be clear and concise in communication in order to signal risks and explain complex ideas and procedures step by step
have a working knowledge of the web technology stack (Client-Server architecture, REST APIs, Relational Databases)
have experience in performing exploratory testing
understand how your work fits into the big picture
are fluent in English, both written and spoken
have some experience with one of the following: JavaScript/Java/C#
Extra points if you:
have experience with automation testing frameworks (Cypress, Puppeteer, Selenium)
have experience with microservices, message queues and stream, and AWS
enjoy constant learning and discovery
WHAT WILL YOU DO
You will enable our development teams to ship quality features and work on improving our product.
Your job will include:
performing testing for feature and maintenance releases
performing exploratory testing to find hard to detect issues or generally provide feedback on the experience and usability of the application
bug tracking and prioritization
writing automated tests for regressions and other situations when it makes sense
supporting the developers and technical writer in preparing release notes and documentation
helping the support team handle requests by providing additional information
collaborating with the QA team to improve internal processes and tools
