You are experienced in Java. Besides, you:
are well acquainted with the Spring Framework
have some experience with RDBMS and SQL
understand fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
work independently, and are solution-oriented
enjoy participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing to discussions with constructive and broad-minded ideas
understand how your work fits into the big picture
are fluent in English, both written and spoken
Extra points if you:
have experience with microservice architecture (Spring Cloud)
have experience with Kafka
enjoy practicing clean code principles
WHAT WILL YOU DO
You will develop services to collect data from modern IoT devices (as a part of the team working on our data collection platform component).
Your job will include:
building a platform able to handle data received from over a million devices
using microservices to create data pipelines
participating in designing and adjusting system architecture
participating in code review
